If you deal with BJJ knee pain there's a good chance you may have trouble activating your outer hips.
In this video I share 4 lateral hip exercises we can use to activate our hips (specifically our glute medius) and ultimately take pressure off our knees.
For when one area of our body doesn't activate in an efficient and proper manner another area will pick up the slack.
In the case of the hips not firing knees will often take the brunt of force.
