Neck pain is something that can not only impact you in your training but in your day to day life.
It's beneficial to have your neck engage and stabilize for your training, but when this neck stays "turned on" during your day, it can lead to physical annoyance and chronic headaches/migraines, and other stress related symptoms.
Add this in before training for a short period of time, and then spend more time post training to relax the musculature and ultimately your nervous system.
This way you can repair and recover for your next training session, by letting go of the stress in your body/mind!
