TEEN SELF DEFENSE/MMA CLASS

There is historically a lull in the 13 to 17-year-old age group with martial arts training.

This is especially important to know to understand that bullying and physical demonstration of it can escalate as children now begin puberty in their transition to adults.

Psychological studies have found that teens in this age group who study martial arts have increased responsibility, take less foolish risks, and have more confidence and self-esteem.

For those in the "war zone" of puberty, this curriculum is great for channeling aggressiveness and excess energy that could become destructive.
Our curriculum also teaches teens practical, efficient, and fundamental self defense technique.

The understanding of these techniques is superseded by the responsibility to use them only in training, teaching, or in the case of an actual physical encounter.

This is more of a mental class than physical, for we work on building the framework for them to have a disciplined mind leading into adulthood.

The overall goal is influence and help develop outstanding PEOPLE who help lift others up around them rather than pushing them down!
